1. About VELO

VELO is a technology platform that enables users to:

• Publish and discover bike rides
• Share rides along common routes
• Send and carry small parcels along planned journeys

VELO does not provide transportation or delivery services. VELO does not own vehicles, does not employ riders, and does not act as a courier. All rides and parcel deliveries are carried out independently by users.

2. Eligibility

To use VELO, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Have the legal capacity to enter into agreements

By using VELO, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activity under your account
• Providing accurate profile and contact details

VELO may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in unsafe, illegal, or abusive behavior.

4. Publishing a Ride

When publishing a ride, riders must:

• Provide accurate route, timing, and pricing details
• Travel on the route regardless of bookings
• Respect passenger and parcel guidelines shown on the platform

VELO does not guarantee that a ride will receive bookings or that users will accept the offered price.

5. Booking a Ride

Users booking a ride must:

• Review ride details carefully
• Respect rider conditions
• Arrive on time and follow safety norms

Bookings are agreements between users, not with VELO.

6. Parcel Delivery

Only small, non-hazardous items such as:

• Documents and small packages
• Lightweight personal items

Users must not send:

• Illegal items and hazardous materials
• Cash, drugs, weapons, explosives
• Fragile, perishable, or high-value goods

VELO is not responsible for parcel loss, damage, or disputes.

7. Pricing & Payments

• Riders set their own prices
• VELO may display recommended prices
• Any platform fees or commissions will be shown clearly
• VELO does not control final pricing decisions

Payments (if applicable) are processed through supported methods only.

8. Platform Role & Liability Disclaimer

VELO is not a transport operator or logistics provider. We are not responsible for user conduct and do not guarantee ride completion or parcel delivery. All interactions occur at users’ own discretion and risk.

9. Safety & Verification

VELO may offer profile verification, ID checks, and ratings. However, verification does not guarantee behavior, and users are responsible for their own safety decisions.

10. Cancellations & No-Shows

Riders and users are encouraged to cancel responsibly. Repeated no-shows or abuse may lead to account restrictions, penalties, or suspensions at VELO's discretion.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Misrepresent identity or intent
• Harass or abuse other users
• Use VELO for illegal purposes
• Circumvent platform safeguards
• Manipulate pricing or bookings

12. Intellectual Property

All content on VELO (logos, designs, text, software) is owned by VELO or licensed to it. You may not copy, modify, or distribute content or branding without authorization.

13. Termination

VELO may suspend or terminate access with or without notice for violations, safety reasons, or operational needs. Users may stop using VELO at any time.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VELO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for accidents, losses, or disputes between users. Your use of VELO is at your own risk.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VELO harmless from claims arising from your use of the platform, violations of these Terms, or disputes with other users.

16. Changes to These Terms

VELO may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
