We send your money 48 hours after the ride if you travelled as planned. This delay ensures a secure and fair experience for both you and your passengers.
Safety is our top priority. We hold the passenger's contribution in a secure escrow account until the trip is successfully completed. Once the 48-hour window closes without any reported issues, the funds are automatically transferred to your linked bank account or VELO wallet. You can monitor your earnings, view transaction history, and manage your withdrawal methods in the 'Payments & Wallets' section of your profile dashboard.
You should edit your ride as soon as you spot any error. Clear communication is key to maintaining a high rating and ensuring a smooth journey for everyone.
If you discover a mistake in your departure time, meeting point, or any other detail, use the 'Edit' feature in your 'My Rides' section. If a passenger has already booked, our system will notify them of the change. We strongly recommend sending them a personal message through the app as well to confirm they are still okay with the updated details. If the trip is no longer possible, please cancel as early as you can.
It only takes a minute to cancel. However, please do so responsibly to allow passengers enough time to find alternative travel arrangements.
To cancel a trip, navigate to your 'My Rides' tab, select the specific journey, and click 'Cancel Ride'. You'll be asked to provide a reason, which helps us improve the service and inform your passengers. We encourage you to cancel at least 24 hours in advance if possible. Frequent or very late cancellations can impact your reliability rating, as they cause significant inconvenience to fellow travelers who rely on your journey.
