Share your ride details and live location with a trusted friend or family member before you start your journey.
Wear a Helmet
Safety first! Always wear a helmet. As a rider, offer one if you can. As a passenger, bring your own or confirm if one is provided.
Keep Communication on VELO
Use our in-app chat to coordinate details. It’s safer and keeps a record of your agreement.
Secure Payments
Avoid paying large amounts in cash. Using digital payments provides a transaction trail.
Staying Safe from Scams
- Never pay in advance: Do not transfer money for a ride before you meet the rider, especially if asked via third-party apps for "booking fees".
- Beware of "Too Good to be True" prices: Extremely low prices might be a lure. Stick to recommended market rates.
- Do not share OTPs: Never share your login OTP or any banking OTP with anyone claiming to be from VELO support.
- Check the URL: Ensure you are always on our official domain (bikepool.in for example) before logging in.
